Early in the morning on March 26, 2019, Casey D. Lowery was critically injured in a two-vehicle rollover collision on East Garriott Road outside of Enid, Oklahoma involving his Ford Escape and a semi-truck. Casey was pinned for 30 minutes until responders were able to free him and transport him to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Casey is the son of Tina Schneider and brother to Trisha Mitcheson, two members of Select's AP department in Gainesville, Texas.
Casey is currently in critical condition in ICU with internal injuries. The 28-year-old has already undergone extensive spinal surgeries involving the fusing of his C2-C6 vertebrae. He is on a ventilator to assist with his breathing. The medical staff believes that his cervical spine injury has paralyzed him from the neck down. The hope is that he will begin to breathe on his own and regain feeling in his upper extremities.
Casey is Tina’s eldest son and the father to his 5-year-old daughter. “He is the family clown always the guy to make us laugh. He has a big heart and is the most energetic, one-of-a-kind human being. He has a goal of making people know their worth.”
Casey has a long road to recovery ahead and any help is so greatly appreciated. Please keep him and our family in your thoughts and prayers. We will update you as soon as we have news to share. Thank you!
