Hello my name is Jasmine and I am asking for help to raise funds for my mum Casey who passed away on Wednesday morning.

It’s important to me to have a funeral and small service to be able to give my mum a proper send off and I think it will help the grieving process as well. I want her friends to be able to have a place to gather together and celebrate my mum and her life.

sadly my mum was officially told on the 16th of September 2024 (her birthday) that she had ovarian cancer, she started to have treatment and it seemed like she had some time to enjoy life before the end, however things took a turn suddenly and she passed away very quickly the speed was unexpected. Sadly she was in pain every day and I felt the hospitals did not manage her pain or look after her properly at all, leaving me to care for her with no help, I have sadly had to make many complaints and feel I legally should take action as they were negligent.

my mum was only 57 years of age so it feels to soon to have lost her. She was put into care as a baby so didn’t really know her biological family and never sadly got properly placed with a foster family, so my whole life it has just been me and my mum supporting each other.

I miss her deeply and feel terrible guilt that she was in pain for so long.

I would like to have a funeral and service to cremate her which was her wish and celebrate her life. However she did not have any money as she was disabled and ill and unable to work. Throughout her life she was always generous and kind and would literally give the shirt off her own back to help another human or animal, she was a huge animal lover and helped rescue animals.
