"This is a hard post to write but unfortunately I need to share some difficult news that on 10/22 I was diagnosed with breast cancer that has spread to my lymph nodes. It has been a whirlwind couple of weeks trying to process this news and I’m finally finding the courage to share this information and ask for the support I know the kids and I are going to need. Due to the aggressive nature I have had to start treatment immediately and had my first chemo yesterday. I am looking at 18 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by double mastectomy, followed by radiation. It’s going to be a long road ahead but I am strong and I’m ready to kick cancers ass! Right now I’m asking for prayers for my 4 kiddos who were already dealing with so many other difficulties in their little lives over the last couple of months. The news they were given on Sunday has turned their world upside down. I need my prayer warriors in place! I will try to post updates as my treatment progresses and how you all can support us as I know we have an amazing village of wonderful people surrounding us! I love you all! Casey"
