As most of you know, Casey is the daughter of Dr. Gary & Susan Davidson, mother of Asher, wife of Chris Humphreys, sister of Lindsay & Whitney, and my very long time friend since early elementary. To know her is to absolutely love her!

After giving birth to Asher, Casey was prescribed a birth control regiment that would go on to forever and irreparably scar both of her kidneys.

On September 16th of 2013, she was blessed with a donor kidney. This was, and continues to be, the answer to many prayers. What a beautiful gift! But sadly, one and a half years later, her body rejected the kidney.

Casey has been through soooo much medically! …

*Unneeded stints placed that kept her from getting another transplant.

*Constant dialysis.

*Unending doctor appointments.

The Mayo Clinic is the only facility in the United States that is advanced enough to do this transplant.

Unfortunately it is going to cost around $10,000 for the 6 weeks post transplant to stay the minimum amount of time. This is not including:

*The cost of the anti-rejection medications following the transplant.

*The actual surgery and pre-surgery costs.

*Hotel stays for family and other travel costs.
