My name is Lindsay Heck and I am Casey's cousin. I am sad that I am even typing this right now but it is the horrific reality that we find ourselves in. Casey passed on January 1st due to an infection and then a reaction she had to the antibiotic that was given to her to treat the infection. It has left a hole in many people's lives and hearts especially Casey's mother, Steph and her 2 beautiful children, Jace and Clarity.
As Steph continues to love and comfort the kids through their grief she is also struggling to deal with her own grief at the same time. It has been a shocking and devastating time for everyone. It is her wish to honor Casey and her life as much as she can through her services. However, the uncomfortable reality is there is a large cost to those services and one that is a finical burden as Steph continues to take care of those babies and navigate through this difficult time. That is where you and I come in. I know it's a hard time for a lot of people right now given what's going on in the world. I ask that you consider donating to help honor Casey and celebrate her life. Every little bit counts.
There will be details on her services by Wednesday as Steph meets with the funeral home tomorrow. Please note, Steph knows Casey was loved by many and it is important to her for everyone who wants to attend be able to. However with the covid restrictions it limits the actual service to 25 people. They will offer a virtual service to those who are not a part of the 25. That being said, they have agreed to allow people to mill through like a viewing as long as there is not more than 25 people in the facility at any given time. Again, more details to come.
On behalf of Steph, Casey's kids, and my whole family we thank each one of you for your love and support whether it be your messages/texts/phone calls or finically it all matters during a time like this, big or small. Lastly, thank you for loving Casey during her time on this earth and for being a part of her life.
