Hello,

My name is Domenic Lepre. I am the President of the Junior Knights Football and Cheer program which covers the towns of Wharton, Mine Hill, Dover and Rockaway Boro. I also coach the Varsity boys level. Our Quarterback was severely injured in a game on October 28th of this year. The photo you see is the game in which it happened. Cash is number 7, leading his team out. In what seemed like a routine tackle, he severely dislocated his left hip and broke his pelvis in 2 places. He was rushed to Morristown Memorial where he underwent emergency surgery to relocate the hip and put screws in his pelvis.

He is facing a difficult and long recovery. His mom has stopped working to be by his side everyday. She owns her own cleaning business and her income is now affected by not being able to work. We are unsure if she will qualify for any assistance. The Doctors are expecting the recovery to take at least a year. They aren't sure if he will ever have normal control of his left foot. Scary thing for a 13 year old boy that has always been a terrific athlete and a leader on the field.
