Cassie's Cancer Crusaders

We are Cassie's Cancer Crusaders, walking with her every step of the way through her cancer battle. Cassie is 43 years old and a Behaviorist for Bergen County Special Services. Cassie has dedicated herself to improving the lives of her students with Autism. In 2019 Cassie was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and underwent radiation and a double mastectomy. Unfortunately, in 2020 she learned the cancer had metastasized and was now in her liver and underwent a second surgery to remove the cancerous tumor. As of this month, Cassie was informed the cancer in her liver was back. She is awaiting a treatment plan from doctors. Cassie has been a ray of sunshine in many of our lives with her bright smile and loving nature. We would like nothing more than to try and be that ray of light for her.
