Cassie's dream bed.

Hello!

My name is Elise and I'm Cassie's Mummy who has Rett Syndrome.

I did a fundraiser last year so I feel awful for having to do another but having both of my kids disabled doesn't make things come easy. I'm the last one to ask for help but here I am, because when it's your kids you will do anything.

Cassie has a bed from a place that does safer beds for disabled children. It's made of purely foam and it makes sure she doesn't get bruises all over her legs and they are sore from hitting them against wood, plastic or metal. NHS beds aren't suitable for Cassie. The one she has is amazing but it's just far too low which makes it dangerous for her.

We have been quoted £600 to take back her old bed and recieve a new one with higher sides to ensure her safety and give me a peace of mind not constantly checking if she's okay.

I won't lie, £600 isn't something we have lying around being carers but needs must. I'm hoping the power of social media gives us the help we need to give Cassie the safest bed possible.
