Cassie's surgery recovery & laser hair removal

Hi everyone,

I just got my third gender-affirming surgery this year, which I've been fortunate enough to have all covered by Medicaid here in California. However, the cumulative lost wages from the recovery periods have started to take their toll, especially given that I'm a barista making <$17k/year. It would make my life a lot less complicated if I could raise $1,000 or so to cover a month of lost wages, as this most recent surgery (body contouring) has been very demanding and will require 5-6 weeks before I can get back to work.

Also, I'd like to raise funds to cover full-body laser hair removal. I've had laser here and there, but the one session I had that covered the entire body was fantastic and I'd love to do it again. I go to this medspa for laser: https://lazerlounge.com/laser-hair-removal/ and their prices are incredibly cheap compared to most places, but a bundle of 5 sessions ($1,680) is still more than I can afford, and sadly not covered by insurance. I'd love help with this, as it makes a huge difference in my dysphoria. Without removal, I'm stuck spending hours and hours shaving my entire body 3-4 times per week.

If the fundraiser were to exceed this combined goal, any additional funds would go towards other transition costs not covered by insurance—hair transplants, lip filler, new clothes now that I've had my body contouring done, etc. I could honestly use a lot more than what I'm asking for (particularly when it comes to the cost of hair transplants for my androgenetic alopecia) but I wanted to keep the goal reasonable and attainable. Anything is appreciated.
