Cast a Helping Hand to Guido Hibdon
Donation protected
Legendary Pro Angler Guido Hibdon has been battling with cancer for the past year. He began chemotherapy in May 2016 and completed his last round of chemotherapy Dec 20, 2016. We believe he has been able to beat the cancer, but due to other complications with his treatments he has continued a long and stressful road to healing. The anglers and fishing industry would like to assist the Hibdon family with the many financial needs associated with any long term illness.
Guido fell ill the night of his last chemo treatment and has been under constant care since. He has lost 140lb and is quiet weak, but his attitude is great and his will is strong. He recently gained 5 lbs. and is determined to win this battle. However, he will need to remain under medical care for possibly several more months. This will allow him to receive the best possible treatment for a full recovery. As he works to heal, his wife Stella and family can use our help with this Go Fund Me Campaign. This assistance will relieve the financial stress that can burden any family in this situation and allow them to use their focus to help Guido in his day to day journey of healing and recovery. Funds will be used to cover current mortgage cost, and other day to day finances that can quickly build up during trying times such as these.
We hope to reach our goal of $100,000 by July 4th. What a great way to celebrate Independence Day for the Hibdon family when we reach or exceed our goal.
Guido began his professional career in 1980 and has continued to be a leader and winner in the sport of professional bass fishing for 35+ years. During that 35 years he has spent countless hours helping others through many avenues. Now it's our turn to repay the favor. Let's help them reach or exceed this goal quickly.
The Hibdon family would like to say thank you in advance and let you know there are no words that can clearly express the gratitude and heartfelt thanks for your support.
