Castings Fishing Center

Intro

Hello family and friends. My name is Eric Windom. I am a father, a husband, Artist, among other Titles. I'm here to talk about this Campaign for Castings Fishing Center. This Campaign is to raise funding for legal representation for the Indoor fishing center. This family oriented fishing center will be full service and handicap accessible. This Center will have indoor accessible ponds stocked with bass for catch and release fishing all year around. Also we will have Biology classes, Lure training classes, Professionally taught demonstrations by the Pros, and equipment training classes as well. This will be a first of its kind aquaponics program built to teach the basics of biology, science, farming and agriculture all together to create the best fishing training environment possible.

This Campaign is particularly important to me because I believe we need it in ALL our communities.

This will be a place where grandparents can learn and bond with their grandchildren. A place for a single mother to take her son fishing for an hour after work. A simple accessible outing for a kids birthday party or a good place to take grandpa who thought his fishing life was over because of the wheelchair. Fishing is a bonding time between us and nature. I think everyone deserves to be able to catch a fish no matter how old or what your disability is. Castings is about fun and better future fishing trips and family time. I believe in the good of the world. The magnitude of your contribution is immense no matter what your contribution is. Our Mission is to help everyone learn the great versatile art of fishing in a safe and structured environment. While at the same time giving people who are physically challenged or mentally disabled the opportunity to get the thrill of the catch. And don’t forget that we will be growing food for food banks all over the country as well.

One more great perk of Castings fishing center is, THE CATCH! We all know how hard it is to locate the fish while fishing. No matter how expensive the rod or the reel, it doesn't matter if you have a $1000 lure or a $2.00 lure. If the fish aren't there they aren't there! At Castings you know they're there. We put them there!

We all want to live longer. Exercise for the body, connecting with nature for the soul, intertwined with biology and great instruments for the mind, fishing is the ultimate rejuvenator for weary lifestyles. We want to inject some fun back in some of our older family members and friends.

So only at Castings Fishing Center will you find we will always have special senior citizen classes and sessions. Available through convalescent homes in the community, parties and soon just a phone call away. Birthday parties for all ages, with the Catch Guaranteed!

Now if we don't reach our goal here in this first Campaign, be assured your donation will go to the construction of Castings Fishing Center. We will not be stopped. We believe in our mission, and the community deserves the opportunity to succeed. Fishing for some people in other countries feed families daily. We can go to the fish market and buy all the fish we want. But this fishing is different. #1 Bass fishing is an historic pass time, #2 its one of the top growing sports in the world, but most of all FOR US is #3 The family times are the greatest together. There's nothing like the smile on a kids face when they catch a fish, (just like me) Its like Santa came down the chimney and WE get to open a gift! We don't know what it is(species), And we don't know how big it is. Its THE THRILL OF THE CATCH! Its addictive. You catch one, you want more. We want to make the dream possible for everyone. We want to help experience this forever, No matter if you cant afford the $10000 boat or if your too old to get on one, you still want the fix. So with that you have- Castings Fishing Center.

The Impact

The Impact of this campaign is enormous. Not only does it give people another entertainment place to make great family times, it may be the one place a lonely old man can still have some fun while living assisted. A place where a young kid can have a birthday party and learn something that could possibly save his/her life one day. A place where a mentally challenged person can get the thrill of catching a big fish and not have to fear the pressures of the waters and being on a boat. A lot of our older people are willing and trying to walk down the rocks on the shore, right after heart surgery to get the thrill, risking their life to catch a fish. I've seen it. I have bought fishing equipment from retired anglers because they cant get out there anymore. I want to be able to bring it to them. All of them. They want it. And they deserve it. The children deserve a place where there is a connection to nature. Our mission is to put them there. Everyone, handicapped, disabled, youngsters and elders.
