Ongoing Housing and Utility Help - JOB SEEKING!

Hello! The community has been so amazing in the past year as we have struggled with a series of terrible financial circumstances. Our medical insurance went through a number of changes and increases, the A/C died, the freezer died, Christine needed an urgent root canal, and most devastatingly, we lost one of our pets.

In a terrible twist by the universe, after surviving all of that, AND getting Christine the affirmative surgery she so desperately needed (which went perfectly!), she was informed at the end of June that they were making budget cuts and terminating her job (2 years with nothing but glowing reviews). She was told that if anything changed they'd bring her back, but that doesn't pay the bills.

Based on what I've seen of the industry, job hunting is fucking brutal. It has been a full month of applications - 5 a day sometimes - and not a SINGLE interview. We need to keep our mortgage, our utilities, until she has a steady income again. We have no one to rely on and I cannot fathom what will happen if we lose our home. I am already struggling losing my medication.
