Castle Rock Hardship Fund
Donation protected
Since March, we have done all we can at Castle Rock to protect our teams, including salary sacrifices from senior staff members and cut hours for almost all employees. We also launched the Castle Rock Hardship Fund. The fund is a pool of donated and sacrificed money which is used to protect our most vulnerable team members, such as single parents and those with health conditions. Vulnerable employees are able to apply for a one-off grant from the hardship fund, which is assessed by a board, including the applicant’s line manager.
Since launching the fund, a few wonderful customers of ours asked if we could make the fund public so that they could donate, and that's what this page is all about. All funds donated here go straight to our Hardship Fund and will be used to support our teams.
We've also started a weekly quiz during the November lockdown and beyond, and we're asking for voluntary donations to the Hardship Fund for those taking part – a suggested donation of £1 per player. Don't worry if you can't donate at this time - your taking part is special enough! You can find out more information about the quiz here: https://www.castlerockbrewery.co.uk/event/castle-rock-virtual-quiz/.
