Castleberry Family

James (Jamie) Brian Castleberry (44) had a tragic, massive heart attack on January 4, 2017, while at work. He had just returned to work after recovering from a knee injury a year ago. Jamie was rushed to the E.R where the hospital staff were able to revive him. Even though they were able to repair his heart, he sustained brain damage due to the lack of oxygen. Jamie was in the ICCU for 7 days. On January 10, 2017, Jamie went to be with the Lord.

Jamie and Katie were happily married  for 17 ½ years. They have 4 beautiful daughters, Leigh (19), Angela (17), Olivia (12), and Ella (6). He was a devoted husband and father. You would see Jamie in every pre-dance picture of the girls, making sure their house was tidy, or watching Alabama football with his wife and daughters (Roll Tide!). He is an Alumni of Pine Forest High School (class of 1990) and a Veteran of the United States Armed Forces.

Many have asked how they can help. We created this page for Jamie's friends, family, and others to support unexpected medical costs, funeral costs, and other expenses surrounding this horrible tragedy.  As a healthy 44-year-old there was no way to foresee this happening.  Jamie's family appreciate the love, prayers, and support that have been sent their way.
