Cat Bells in Memory of Ben Robert Whiteman

Hi, my name is Beth Moir, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart. I am raising funds for the If U Care Share Foundation in memory of my beloved boyfriend, Ben Robert Whiteman, who tragically took his own life on 3rd June 2024, aged 22.

Ben was a wonderful person who brought joy and love into the lives of everyone he met. He struggled silently with his mental health, and his sudden loss has left a void in our lives that can never be filled. On Saturday 15th June, in his memory, I, along with 25 friends, will be walking up Cat Bells, a fell in the Lake District. This walk holds a special significance for me because, in April, Ben and I climbed Cat Bells together.

The If U Care Share Foundation is a charity dedicated to the prevention, intervention and support of those bereaved by suicide. As well as supporting people at a time of need, the Foundation offer training and workshops based around mental health and suicide prevention.
