Stray Cat Endures 5 Days in Agony with Two Broken Legs in awful storms urgent help needed
This poor stray had been visiting someone for food daily then he disappeared in the bad weather for 5 days. When he finally returned, he was in a heartbreaking state—with two broken legs on his right side. Despite enduring immense pain and suffering, he somehow made his way back to his feeder, desperate for help.
The kind finder took him to the vet and paid for initial care and xrays ( so kind of them) which revealed two serious breaks requiring urgent and costly surgery. Unfortunately, they couldn’t afford the full treatment. The vet then contacted us, and since we recently rehomed × cat we had space available, we agreed to take him in.
His name is Squeak, he is only a young cat. Despite his injuries he is very bright , he has been making biscuits and purring whist at the vet . His spirit is incredible, and we believe he deserves a chance to heal and thrive. To drag him self to safety after 5 days injured shows he is a determined kitty.
We're asking for your help to give him the chance at life he deserves. The cost of his care is , currently totaling £3,043, this includes a discount from the vet.
If you can spare £1, it will make a difference. Every little bit adds up to help.
We know not everyone can donate, but sharing can really help make a difference too.

Thank you so much for your support. Together, we can give Squeak the happy and healthy life he deserves.
We kindly ask for no comments about vet costs. Our focus is on getting Squeak the care he urgently needs to recover and have a great life.
This situation likely happened because an irresponsible owner didn’t neuter or chip him. Unneutered male cats wander in search of females, which often leads to them getting hit by cars.
If Squeak had at least been microchipped, someone could have been informed and taken responsibility for his care, so we wouldn’t have had to step in. Responsible owners should always have money set aside for emergency vet care or insurance to cover it.
Irresponsible ownership is one of the biggest challenges we face. Please neuter your cats to decrease their wandering and reduce the chance of them getting hit by a car. Please chip your cats so that, if anything happens to them, you can be informed. Finally, please insure your cats or save up in case of emergencies so we don’t have to pick up the pieces.
Any funds raised above what is needed will go into general funds for the cats .
As always invoices can be seen an will be posted.
