Cat hit by a car today needs help

This morning on my way to work I came across a cat who had been hit by a car. She was in the center turning lane on 22nd St, cars driving by her on either side. She was trying to get up but couldn’t, she could only lift her head up and one paw.  I pulled over, got a sheet out of my car and carefully picked her up. I called a friend of mine who works at Acacia Animal Hospital and told him the story and he said bring her in. I rushed her there and the second I walked through the door they were ready for her. I brought her to the back and they immediately started working on her. I thought for sure based on how she struggled and looked with blood coming out of her eye, nose and mouth that they would have to put her down. After an evaluation they said they had hopes they could save her. So, with that said I realized after what this poor girl had been through that I wanted to keep her and give her a good loving home. Unfortunately, what we do know right now is that she has a broken jaw and a small skull fracture. Currently, the vet bill is $1700 (which does include surgery on her jaw which she will have tomorrow) but that could change based on if she will need a feeding tube or not and anymore surgeries. I don’t like to ask for things but at this time I could really use your help to help get this girl all healed up.  Anything will be greatly appreciated!
