Cat named Mouse needs emergency care.

Hi I’m Becky. Our cat is very sick. For months now, we’ve noticed something is not quite right. Issues with his urinary tract. The vet initially said(for lack of an expensive invasive diagnosis), that it’s called Feline Interstitial Cystitis. Basically like an unexplained urinary tract infection that comes and goes. We’ve been treating the symptoms with a new prescription diet of wet and dry food along with a probiotic. He also has pain medication and muscle relaxers to help when it flares up. I’ve also been praying that this will just go away, as I can’t even afford his $500 X-ray, never mind full treatment. This is the worst flare up ever. In fact I’m taking him to vet tomorrow as an emergency, and hoping it’s not too late. He won’t eat, can hardly pee and when he does, he’s now growling and hissing. How do I explain to my kids that I can’t afford to save our beloved pets life? So I thought I would take a chance and see if a combined few dollars from the many, might help our sweet Mousey. I know it’s a long shot, but I don’t know what else I can do.♥️
