Cat Scratching Post for Friends of Cats
Donation protected
Thank you all for helping Ean raise money. He's been able to purchase the materials and begin building. We'll keep you posted. There is no more need to donate as he has enough funds. Thank you for your support and generosity!
Friends of Cats, Inc. is a no-kill shelter for cats located in El Cajon, California. They provide shelter and medical care to abandoned cats and those whose owners are unable to care for them. From kittens to older resident cats living out their lives, the shelter houses over 270 cats at any given time. Friends of Cats, Inc. receives no public support operating solely through memberships, donations, revenue from adoptions and relinquishments, grants, and legacies.
I chose this project because I love cats and found my cat Bubba there. I decided to build cat scratching posts because Bubba likes to scratch on his post every morning. These posts will allow cats to scratch without damaging furniture.
The project will consist of building at least 10 scratching posts for Friends of Cats and will contribute to the well-being of the cats housed. Please consider donating to my Eagle Project, which I hope to start before the end of January.
Your contributions will be greatly appreciated and will go towards buying the supplies (3/8” Sisal Rope, 4x4 8 ft wood posts, plywood, screws, etc.) necessary to build the posts. Thank you.
