Gary Comer College Prep Football

Catamount football just finished its 10th season by winning its second consecutive Noble Championship.  We finished 8-1 for the third year in a row and won the championship by defeating the only team to beat us during the regular season.  More importantly, we are developing young men who are graduating high school and succeeding in college.  We have former players who have graduated from Villanova University, Illinois and Connecticut College, and currently have former players enrolled at schools all over the region including Illinois, Illinois St., Valparaiso, Michigan, Wisconsin, Grand Valley, Missouri, Valparaiso and Western Illinois.  In addition, we have former players playing college football at Upper Iowa, Dubuque, Aurora and Albion.

Our  boys need your help!  Thanks to generous donations we were able to upgrade our helmets over the last 2 seasons.  We also need to begin replacing our shoulder pads, which are 7-9 years old and cost between $150-170 per pair, as well as a set of game jerseys which are now 9 years old.  Your money will not be spent frivolously, it will be spent ensuring our athletes are in safe equipment and have the opportunity to live their dreams on the football field.  The more kids we can keep in our program the more opportunity we have to help turn the tide of what is currently happening on the south side of Chicago.  My players want to be in school, they want to go to college and they want to work toward our team goal of being their "Best Self."
