The Catapano-Kangas Family

Donation protected

Justin Catapano-Kangas is a 37-year-old husband, father of two wonderful daughters, and a former middle school math teacher turned principal.

On what was more than likely a routine Sunday night, Justin suffered a stroke, losing the ability to see, speak, and move.

Fortunately, he was surrounded by the right people at the right time, and he was able to get the care needed despite the severity of the stroke.

If not for the quick thinking from his wife, or the fast-acting off-duty EMT, Justin may not be here today.

Justin has since made a near-full recovery with some scarring of the brain but no apparent permanent damage.

With that said, he still has a long road ahead with more testing to figure out the whats and the why’s.

With everything going on, this comes with not only time away from work for him and his wife but also an unknown amount of medical bills.

Stack that on top of the current state of the economy, and it being around the holidays, this couldn’t have come at a worse time.

Justin’s passion for helping guide and shape our youth has made him a well-respected pillar within our community.

As a community, we have the ability to help him and his family through these very difficult times.

Let’s do what we can to remove as much stress as possible during an already stressful time for such an incredible family!
