Cataract eye surgery for Cooper our Shih Tzu

Donation protected
Cataract surgery:
Hi, my name is Ron and I am fund raising for Cooper, our Shih Tzu. Cooper is blind in his right eye from a cataract and now a cataract is forming in his left eye. Cooper has had "separation anxiety" since a pup. He gets extremely anxious, stressed and starts howling at a high pitch if he can not locate Kitty, my wife, or me. He is also slowly loosing some of his hearing.
It breaks our heart to think of the world he will experience if he is completely blind, hard of hearing and accentuated by the separation anxiety.
Animal cataract surgery is extremely expensive. Keil Animal Opthalmology in Lenexa, Kansas has quoted between $6000 and $6500 for surgery on both eyes.
$198 - 1st exam and consult.
$800 - Eye function and health test.
$4800- $5000 - Eye surgery for 2 eyes.
$240 - 2 post op exams.
$6238 - Minimum TOTAL.
We humbly ask for your help for Cooper.
If donations exceed the amount for surgery, we will donate the excess to
Big Guy, Littles World Sanctuary. They provide permanent sanctuary for elderly, special needs, abandoned, neglected and abused Chihuahuas. He normally has 35+ Chihuahuas in house.
We appreciate and thank you for any help received.
Ron, Kitty, Chloe (our Chihuahua) and Cooper.
