Hello, my name is Javie and I'm the founder of Catfé, a soon-to-be cat cafe in the heart of Santa Clarita. I'm reaching out to ask for your support in making my dream a reality.

You see, I am a survivor of sexual abuse and throughout my healing journey, I found solace in the companionship of cats. Adopting Kermit & Frida helped me cope with the trauma and gave me a sense of purpose. I want to open Catfé to give others the same opportunity to find comfort and healing in the company of cats.

The Catfé will be a warm and welcoming space where people can come and relax with adoptable cats while enjoying a cup of coffee. It will be a sanctuary for both the cats and the people who visit. The cafe will also partner with local animal shelters to help find loving homes for cats in need.

However, opening a cafe is not cheap and I need your help to make it happen. The funds raised will go towards renovating the space, purchasing equipment, and supporting the cats' care.

Any amount you can donate will make a huge difference and bring us one step closer to opening the doors of Catfé. We also have some rewards for different levels of donations, like a free cup of coffee once we open or a personal video message from Kermit.

What will the funds be used for?

We are so excited to be one step closer to opening Catfé, a warm and welcoming cat cafe that will provide a sanctuary for both cats and visitors. Your donations will go towards:

Renovating the space: This includes updating the flooring, painting, and creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for visitors and cats alike.
Purchasing equipment: We need to purchase equipment such as tables, chairs, and cat condos for the cats to lounge and play in.
Supporting the cats' care: We will be partnering with local animal shelters to provide adoptable cats for our cafe, and your donations will go towards their food, litter, and veterinary care.
