Help Cath Latham to heal ❤️❤️

Sometimes we really hurt ourselves. Most of you know that I have a twin sister, Catherine, in the UK, who also has a lifelong career with horses.

She suffered a fractured L1 (of her spine) last week after a rescue horse she had been working with for a few weeks was unexpectedly triggered into explosive bucking.

She landed flat on her back and I got the message we both hate to send to each other “I’m ok, but I’m in the hospital…”

She is ok, because nobody comes braver or calmer or tougher than my SIS but she could really use your help.

She was hospitalized for almost a week and will have several months of recovery ahead. She got extremely lucky but she is self-employed and will not be able to teach for at least a few more weeks. I’d really love for her to ease back in when she’s fully healed and to have a worry-free recovery period.

Her family, (my family) still has her (which is all that matters) and we’d love to keep her safe and sound until she’s cleared by her doctors for regular activities.

I know everyone will have the same question, (because it also really does matter) - the little mare she came off is being kept by the same owner who rescued her and she will continue to be cared for and loved for just who she is.

We both truly appreciate the love, and I know it means the world to Cath to have your support.
