Catherine Serou Memorial Plaque at UC Davis

Catherine Serou was a dear friend, a hard worker, and an inspiring role model to many. Those who knew her know that she loved nature, animals, art, and so much more. Catherine was a beloved student at UC Davis and made a substantial positive impact on everyone she met there. She was a UC Davis alumna twice-over, earning both her B.A. in Design and her M.A. in Art History, in addition to serving as a peer mentor. Catherine's friends from Davis decided that one of the best ways we can honor her incredible legacy on campus and in the community is by dedicating a memorial plaque to her memory. It will rest near an oak tree in the campus arboretum, one of Catherine's favorite places.

We need your help in order to preserve Catherine's impact on campus. It costs $1,500 to dedicate a memorial plaque in the arboretum. Any donations that surpass that amount will be donated to Tunnel to Towers (a charity that honors veterans and first responders) in Catherine's name. This is to honor her as a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and her outstanding service to our country. Thank you for all the support given to Catherine's family during this difficult time.
