Cathy Gordon, in ICU due to severed aorta valve
Donation protected
Cathy Gordon, a loving wife, mom, grandma who loves life and would give the shirt off her back for anyone in need, was struck a major blow on Thursday, November 12th. While giving her beloved furbaby a haircut, she experienced
excruciating pain in her chest. She was taken to the local hospital and then transferred to Marquette. Cathy was immediately put on a respirator and put in a partial coma. She remained in this coma, in a life or death situation for 6 long days. By the power of prayer, miraculously and against all odds, Cathy has made great progress. Yesterday she was taken off the respirator and was slowly regaining consciousness. Cathy has a long road ahead of her. She still has a severed aorta valve as she is too weak for the doctors to operate. As soon as she is strong enough, she will undergo surgery to repair the valve. She is a very hard worker employed at Cellotex in Lanse, Michigan. There is no telling how long it is going to take for her to recover from this. With all the family is going through, I hate the financial burden this has caused them. Cathy's husband, Dale has been by her side and staying in Marquette at a local motel along with their sons Austin, Cody, Dillon, and Dillon's girlfriend Eden. With the holidays approaching, please consider helping this family out. Any little bit helps and will be greatly appreciated. We will keep you updated as we learn more daily.
