Please support Cathy Hathaway in her recovery
Donation protected
On Tuesday December 5th, Cathy Hathaway, our beloved friend and fellow 1st responder, was heading a short distance from home to check on a friend in need, when she was tragically struck by a semi and ejected from her vehicle.
If you know Cathy, you know her whole life has been dedicated to helping and serving others. Cathy has been a first Responder on the Fremont County ambulance for over 13 years, and prior to then, volunteered her time with Clark County EMS. Cathy constantly puts others before herself, and is endlessly devoted to helping others in any way she can.
Cathy is currently fighting for her life in the ICU at EIRMC. The extent of her injuries is beyond belief, and will forever alter her life. She will spend the next several weeks (if not months) in the ICU, and a full recovery is expected to take no less than 12-18 months.
It is now our chance to give back to Cathy, to be the ones to switch roles and help her in her desperate time of need. Please send all the love and prayers that you can, and if possible, please consider giving a donation to help with the families medical bills, travel, loss of wages, and never ending struggles that come along with traumatic, life threatening injuries.
Cathy is a fighter, and if anyone can make it through something this challenging it’s her. She just needs a little help along the way.
