Cathy’s Cancer-Kicking Fund

Cathy has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, but she’s not going to let that stop her. She’s already had the tumor removed through surgery and is embarking on 6-weeks of intense radiation and chemotherapy, followed by 6 more rounds of chemotherapy to kick this cancer in the tail. We know she can do it and will be back to her squirrel-chasing self in no time. 

We can’t know all the things she will need as she goes through this journey, but we know it will be a lot. We imagine using these funds to buy her items that support her health and wellness (like caps, scarves, lotions, medications), treatments and classes not covered by insurance (like massage, meditation, or acupuncture), groceries and meals, financial support for family members taking time off work, and things we don’t know about yet.
