My name is Cato, I’m a 21 year old transgender man. I have a lot of health problems and I work a full time job, the medical bills are stacking and it’s not enough to afford my top surgery. My insurance messed up my legal name change and they took a whole year to fix it, therefore I didn’t have insurance coverage for awhile. As a transgender person it has been hard navigating the medical system, I’ve been misgendered and deadnamed despite having court papers with my real legal name etc. I just want to push through this nightmare, I’m hoping that if I get top surgery it will be easier for me to pass and just move on from that stage of life. I want to be happy with my body and it’s getting difficult every day to wear a chest binder 8-12 hours a day. I’m getting bruises and swelling, it’s not healthy for me to bind this much but I have to in order to pass and be safe in public. It would mean the world to me if you donated even a couple cents, I’m just worried about how I’m going to pay my bills while I’m recovering from my surgeries you know, thank you so much
