Cavan Senior Football Team Movember Fundraiser

A few of the Cavan senior footballers are doing a Movember fundraiser this year to raise money for some local charities in Cavan (namely Friends of Cavan Oncology, So Sad Cavan and Pieta House Cavan). We will be growing moustaches to raise awareness for cancer and mental health as both of these illnesses have had an impact within our own panel and the wider GAA community in Cavan in recent times. Any donation (large or small), to these great charities,  is greatly appreciated.

Funds will be donated directly by members of the Cavan Senior Football Team by cheque to representatives of the 3 beneficiary organisations.  It is intended that there will be photographs of the donation in the local newspaper and social media.

The funds will be used as these organisations see fit, but they will be asked to spend the money on behalf of their organisations within the Cavan Community. 

Each of the 3 organisations are well known and respected within the Community, and rely on volunteer funds to provide their services to those in need.
