Cave Exploring and Speleobarcoding

Hi guys,

Dr. Fernando Calderon Gutierrez has asked us to help with a project on cave exploration and speleobarcoding of subterranean life in Mexico.

We will be conducting these cave exploration dives in Cenotes located in the middle of the Mexican jungle later this year, and of course, we will be filming all the action for Dive Talk.

As of now, Dive Talk and KISS Rebreathers will be financing the trip cost and the logistics associated with getting to the cenote, setting up camp, and conducting the dives, but we need your help to fund the scientific equipment needed to accomplish the mission of the master project.

Below is the list of equipment we need with its current cost and once we add taxes and shipping we are looking at a little over $6k so we hope the Dive Talk community can step in big time and help us fund this expedition!

I wish I could promise you all who contribute your own cave adapted critter on the mail or to name a new specie we discover on your mom's honor, but the only thing I can really promise is some epic footage of our trip and show you caves and species no other human has seen before!
