Hi, this is Heather Minew, Chad Minew's sister. As anyone who knows him knows, my brother Chad is the first person to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it and he never expects anything in return. He is always in an upbeat positive mood, regardless what his day brought him or how he feels. **“ SOMETIMES THE LIGHT’S ALL SHINING ON ME. OTHER TIMES I CAN BARELY SEE.” And we all know he is one who would never reach out for help himself. My brother, who turned 50 on December 12 has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He has currently been taken out of work and is scheduled to have his prostate removed, as his tumor has increased in size and has spread at an aggressive rate since it was discovered in September of 2022. In August of 2022 he had part of his kidney removed as that too had cancer. A lung cancer screening is also to be scheduled for small nodules that were found after his prostate surgery. **"ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, THIS DARKNESS GOT TO GIVE”

**“WELL, THE FIRST DAYS ARE THE HARDEST DAYS, DON’T YOU WORRY ANYMORE”

Chad has always been a hard worker, taking care of his family and friends and even strangers. Currently his out of pocket expenses are expected to be over $10,000 for this procedure, he still has outstanding medical bills from his other procedures and at the same time his house roof is leaking and was quoted over $10,000 to replace.
