Cayetana, the first baby with Fox G1 in Ecuador

What is FoxG1? It is a degenerative neurological genetic condition that severely affects the abilities and overall health of our little girl. As parents, we are willing to do everything possible to provide her with an excellent quality of life and opportunities for her development.

However, this battle is not easy to face, and we need a helping hand. We specifically need the help and support of incredible people like you to provide our daughter with the medical attention and specialized therapies she needs.

Being a rare and catastrophic disease, the costs are incredibly high, and there is even medication that is not available in the country and we have to bring it from elsewhere. The donations we receive will be used to cover medical expenses and search for innovative treatments and therapies that will allow Cayetana to reach her full potential. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in her life as the first girl with FoxG1 in Ecuador.

At such a young age, Tana suffers from strabismus, constipation, difficulty swallowing, lack of head control, and loss of ability to sit up, and her smile has disappeared due to various types of uncontrolled epilepsy seizures.

¿Qué es FoxG1? Es una condición genética degenerativa neurológica que afecta severamente las habilidades y la salud general de mi chiquita. Como padres, estamos dispuestos a hacer todo lo posible para proporcionarle una excelente calidad de vida y oportunidades para su desarrollo.

Sin embargo, esta batalla no es fácil de enfrentar y necesitamos una mano amiga. Justamente la ayuda y apoyo de personas increíbles como tú para brindarle a nuestra hija la atención médica y terapias especializadas que ella necesita.

Al ser una enfermedad rara y catastrófica los costos son extremadamente altos e inclusive hay medicina que no hay en el país y tenemos que traerla de otros lugares. Las donaciones que recibamos serán utilizadas para cubrir los gastos médicos, así como para buscar tratamientos innovadores y terapias que le permitan a Cayetana alcanzar su máximo potencial. Cada aporte, por pequeño que sea, marcará una gran diferencia en su vida como la primer niña con FoxG1 en Ecuador.

A su corta edad, Tana sufre de estrabismo, estreñimiento, dificultad para deglutir, no tiene control cefálico, perdió su inicio para sentarse y su sonrisa se ha ido ya que sufre varios tipos de epilepsia - convulsiones que no se logra controlar.
