Caysen Robinson Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Caysen Robinson, a beloved 20-year-old, was severely injured in a serious hit-and-run accident,
July 4th, on the border of Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley.
Caysen was riding his bike in the bike lane when he was literally run over. His heart was ruptured due to blunt force trauma. The driver never stopped.
We were lucky - one of the first on the scene had medical knowledge and an ambulance was quick to transport Caysen. He was taken to UCI Medical where Drs operated on his heart immediately that night and saved his life.
Less than 1% of victims survive this type of injury, it is usually fatal.
Caysen was in a medically induced coma and put on a ventilator. Drs weaned him off, and he had surgery for a compound fracture of his tibia. Caysen still needs surgery for the 4 facial fractures. Today Caysen had unidentified pain in his shoulder and wrist, and Drs are looking into additional broken or fractured bones.
Caysen is expected to have a long road to recovery but the family is hopeful for a speedy recovery. We are extremely grateful for all the love, support and prayers Caysen and his family have received. We feel your love.
We are praying that someone will come forward with information regarding the driver and any information they may have regarding the incident. Please share this to help spread the word.
Caysen is looking at undetermined hospital stays, additional surgeries, therapy and more. All huge expenses. If you can help please do so. We will update this page as we get more information.
