Help Ibrahem distribute humanitarian aid!

Hi, my name is Alexandra and I am raising funds for Ibrahem al Saady who is passionate about feeding the undernourished children in his community through his one-man aid distribution operation, The Purslane Project. He is a husband and a father of two kids in you-know-where. The famine has been affecting thousands of people and unfortunately, children, with their little bodies and their large energy needs, are some of the people who suffer the most when they don't get enough to eat. Chronic malnutrition is devastating for kids because they need a lot of food and nutrients to grow, and when they don't eat enough, it stunts their development.

Rather than only concerning himself with the nutrition of his own children, Ibrahem wants to feed as many children as he can, and that's why I'm helping him to raise money for his efforts. I want to live in a world where children will always have something to eat. As an auntie to many children and an educator with 10 years of experience, (and also as a normal human being, let's be real) I feel strongly that children deserve our protection no matter where they are. All children are our children and our responsibility. Any adult who steps up to assume that responsibility, in my eyes, should be supported in their efforts.
