House caught fire.
Donation protected
Hi everyone, soo our house caught fire and nearly burned to the ground on this past Saturday, September 5th.
None of us were home when the fire started so we are all SAFE. Our dog Bella escaped her yard with minor wounds. She is scared but healthy.
Around 9:45am on Saturday, Eric received a call from a cousin, Tobin, that our house was on fire, and that the fire department was already on-site.
The Fire Department said that the fire started on the porch and quickly engulfed the house. Thank you to all the fire fighters and family who responded so quickly!
The damage was beyond extensive and most of our belongings are non-salvageable.
Many friends and family have reached out to us and asked how they can help.
After much thought and advice, we think this would be the simplest way to open ourselves up to peoples kindness.
To ALL of our friends and and family who have reached out, checked on us and offered help and support, thank you! We have figured out where we are staying currently but there is still so much to figure out.
As you can see from the pictures, almost everything is gone. We also did not have renters insurance, so we will be needing to refurnish an entire house soon. If there's any extra stuff you would like to donate, please just contact us.
We know the world is crazy right now and it seems like everyone is going through their own struggle but anything that can help us get back on our feet is appreciated.
Words cannot express our feelings fully, yet, thank you.
We love you all.
