Kelly needs your help

Hi, my name is Kelly and I am asking for help in funding my upcoming surgery. My whole life, I have felt different. When I was young, I had no idea what that was about but as I grew older it became clearer and clearer to me that what I was feeling was a disconnect. A disconnect between who I knew myself to be and the male body that I was born into. I initially resisted this knowledge by pouring myself into doing all the stereotypical things that could associate me with the male body I had because I never expected acceptance of the real me by those around me but it was never enough. I could not run from myself. Eventually, I gave up fighting and accepted the fact that I was transgender. Since then, I have embraced my transition, both medically and socially. I have been on female hormones now for over a decade and have amassed an incredibly accepting and amazing friend group who provide wonderful support but there is still more lacking. Through it all, I still do not feel fully one with my body and have decided to go through with the final reassignment surgery. This is a huge step both emotionally and financially and even though health insurance does help immensely, it does not cover all of the expenses associated with this. I am humbly asking for assistance to help fund my February 15, 2024 SRS surgery and the recovery period afterwards. Thank you so much and I love you all!!!
