Emily & Mia marathon for the Children's Hospice
Emily and Mia will be running the bath half marathon on 15th March 2020
Mia and myself visited the Children's hospice in November, it's a wonderful organisation that provides hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their whole family. Respite and short breaks, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care.
The organisation rely's on fundraising to function as they only get 14% funding from the government.
Jill and Eddie Farwell set up the hospice, as they were inspired to found the Charity following the exceptional care they received for their own two life-limited children at the world’s first children’s hospice, Helen House in Oxford. Little Bridge House, the South West’s first children’s hospice opened in 1995.
Families rely on places like this to support them and their families, and we after seeing how much hard work and how wonderful this place is, want to help them to continue to do this.
