Tiffanys house burned down

Donation protected
As many of you know, Tiffany has been like a second mother to me. When I was a teenager she helped me through my toughest times.

Yesterday her apartment burned to the ground and she barely escaped with her life. Her animals unfortunately didn’t make it out. Tiffany is disabled and has had a rough time these past few years. She lost everything she owned in the fire and the Red Cross is only able to put her in a hotel until Sunday. The Salvation Army is helping her refill her prescriptions, and I’ll be bringing clothing to her on Saturday. But she will need a place to live. I’ve set the goal to $2500 because I would imagine that’s the going rate to move into a new apartment in Abilene for her and her daughter.

Her daughter lived in the neighboring apartment which was also burned, but nowhere near the extent Tiffany’s apartment had burned. It is however condemned as well due to the damages, which means Tiffany doesn’t even have a couch to crash on.

Tiffany had originally lived in Alvarado where she was known as the lady who took in anybody and everybody who had nowhere else to go. Around a decade ago she moved to Abilene and now has nobody with the ability to return the favor.

Please if you can donate, any little bit helps even if it’s just a few dollars!

thank you!
