CCRS needs help!

2018 has been an expensive and rocky year full of medical cases human and dog related. Our rescue President who tries to keep everyone up to date has been dealing with her own health issues for a year now but struggling through to care for the dogs. Our great board members have stepped up to help with fundraising and to be there for our followers. Our rescue President is on the mend and we desperately need to start doing some hard core fundraising to get back on track  otherwise we will have to do the responsible thing and shut down intake for awhile so we can get caught up with bills.

Puff needs a bilateral hip replacement surgery. We posted the invoice. It’s $4600.00 per hip.

Jerry needs a prosthesis for his leg that is missing.

We have Rasta still on heartworm treatment and he will be due for his annual vaccinations and bloodwork.

Nugget had a huge bill for veterinary boarding and a urinary tract infection.

Kiwi ( who will only be adopted if it’s with Basil ) is going to be due for her annual wellness and vaccination checkup.

Basil still gets medication every month for his visceral epilepsy and has bloodwork every four months. If his specialist deems it safe than he will get his vaccinations as well.

Bear had glaucoma and an eye removed. He has to be sedated for grooming and he will need a grooming soon. He is also on arthritis pain medication.

Jet now Ozil,  the boy with frost bite has developed a hot spot from his e-collar so he will be getting sedated to remove the collar and treat the irritated area as well as a neuter at the same time.

Dorie will be due for her yearly exam as well.

Princess requires vaccinations and bloodwork as well as microchip and likely a dental as her bottom teeth are pretty bad.

We have been asked to take in two 6.5 year old male blue brothers that both need skin scrapings and likely specialized shampoos for fur loss. They will need full exams.

We have also been asked to take in a young blue female who will also need a veterinary exam, vaccinations and bloodwork as well as spay if not spayed.

The hip surgeries alone are around $9000.00 so we really need to fundraise far more than $10k but if we can reach the $10k mark that gives us several more months to fundraise for the second hip surgery as they are done one at a time. The money we raised for Puff initially on his go fund me went towards his veterinary bill which was around $1100.00 I believe.

Please help us share this fundraiser and every $5 helps. Go fund me does take a 3% portion so if you prefer pay pal or venmo, just ask for usernames

Thank you for all your support in helping these innocent dogs!
