Jillian’s fight against breast cancer

Hi, my name is Justine, and my sister Jessica and I are fundraising for our younger sister, Jillian.

Jillian was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer in March 2023 at 24 years old and has started an aggressive treatment plan. Since being diagnosed, she has already had surgery for her chest port and has started weekly chemotherapy for the last ten weeks. Once she completes 12 rounds of her first chemo regimen, she will continue with another round every three weeks for four treatments, completing 16 rounds of chemo before undergoing major surgery!

Jillian travels from New Jersey to Philadelphia for every chemo session. As strong as Jillian is, she was recently hospitalized for four days due to fevers after chemotherapy requiring IV antibiotics and fluid replacements. She also needed medication to help increase her white blood cell counts. Although these are just some of the hardships Jillian has recently encountered, she also uses the Paxman Scalp Cooling to reduce hair loss, a cap she wears during all her chemo sessions and has been successful with.

Jillian is strong and has had a positive attitude throughout this journey, from her themed socks to her colored jumpsuits! We hope to relieve her stress from the financial burden of her cancer treatments so she can focus on getting better and beating her diagnosis.
