CCYH Cross-Ice Boards
Tax deductible
Dear Parents,
CCYH needs your help! We would like to raise money to purchase a set of cross-ice hard dividers for our organization. Most of the Mite and Squirt families are familiar with this style of boards, as it is used during cross-ice games. The dividers would be a vital asset to the development of our players. The benefits of having 3 on 3 and 4 on 4 style games will be extremely valuable to our kids. Once we start practicing at Middlesex, the plan would be to have at least one practice per week that uses this style of play. It will be upbeat and instructional with a ton of energy. And if our plug isn't convincing you, then this video will help. It's an NHL analysis of the benefits of U8 cross-ice and the scientific data to back it up:
As you can see, this model is even used by the pros. Also, we know many university/college level programs that are using this style of play during practices as well. So purchasing these boards for our organization will benefit players from the Mites to the Bantams for years to come.
As you know, every little bit helps. We'd appreciated anything you can donate and if you need a little more encouragement, the end of the year is fast approaching and, if anything, it's a great tax deduction! Thank you for all the dedication and support you give to the sport of youth hockey. Without the involvement and engagement of parents, this all wouldn't be possible.
Thanks,
CCYH
