Help Kendra's Family Navigate Their Loss

On May 17, 2024, my sister Kendra Coleman was found unresponsive by her youngest daughter who so bravely called her older siblings for help, and they rushed over. Upon arrival of the police and her oldest daughter it was discovered that she passed away in her sleep at just 47 years old. She had battled complications from diabetes and other life threatening issues due to this condition for years, and had many hospitalizations and surgeries. Her Dr believes she succumbed to these complications.

Kendra was…Kendra. And if you knew her you’d know exactly what I mean. She was funny, usually had extremely inappropriate jokes, and most of all she loved all 6 of her kids. She had absolutely no filter and a common thing you’d hear from her kids daily is “omg mom, stop!”. She had recently become a grandma for the first time towards the end of 2023, which truly brightened her world.

Her oldest daughters are now left to collaborate and make some extremely difficult decisions in order to care for the youngest children that are in high school and elementary school. Their life as they knew it has been completely uprooted, and the loss of their mom is the greatest pain they’ve ever encountered.

Any funds raised will be used to cover funeral expenses, as well as to help get the youngest children situated, and make any necessary changes to living situations and etc so that they can all stay together.
