A Mother’s Love For Her Children

On Tuesday August 31, 
I went to my moms house to pick up my babies , it was normal night for us until it wasn't. I was leaving my moms house, I put my babies in the car only to get in the car to hear something that puts you in the mind of fireworks. I looked up and didn't see anything or anybody and boom there it went even louder ,
I noticed the windows started to shatter, it was so scary all I could think about was my babies are in the back seat . I through my arm up to my face and at that
moment I knew I had been shot.
I put the car in drive all I heard was my tires blowing out and glass shattering. I pulled around the corner and dialed 911 , I told my son to check and make sure he
was good at the moment he said mommy I'm bleeding only to find out it was his little brothers blood.
I lost it my babies are innocent ,all I could do was think about my sister being shot when we attended Ballou Senior High School , I prayed to god asking him to help
me give my children a better life .
I am stable and a great mom to my children , I would have never expected this event to alter our lives while visiting my family.
My kids and I are traumatized and scared after this life changing event , my car was riddled with bullets and all I want to do is have a stable ride for my babies to get
back and fourth to school , so I'm asking for your help with getting me a new car , my car has be impounded.

I want to thank everyone for all the calls and support , its helping me remain strong for my babies . I can't thank you all enough .
