Help save East Orange Animal Hospital
Hello everyone. On July 24th 2020, The East Orange Animal Hospital was vandalized and burglarized. The incident left extensive damages and loss of property that cannot be replaced. We are heartbroken over what Dr. Santiago has recently experienced. This is a person that not only treats our pet like his own, but supports his community on multiple levels. In addition to our own experience, we have heard stories of Dr. Santiago going above and beyond to care for pets and their families. One story that sticks with us is when he traveled to see a patient after hurricane Sandy who could not get treatment otherwise. He is an unsung hero in our eyes, and we are hoping that people can help to keep him as an invaluable resource in the community. Our Boston Terrier has had exceptional treatment from Dr. Santiago. He was our second opinion for a massive tumor on his leg. Dr. Santiago carefully spent hours removing it without having to amputate. Amputation had been the prognosis until we met Dr. Santiago. East Orange Animal hospital is the loving health home for many pets. Losing this resource would have a devastating impact on pets and their families in the communities he serves.
