Ceara’s Road to Recovery- Medical Relief Fund

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart during the most challenging time in my life. On 4/3/2024, I underwent an upper endoscopy procedure that unfortunately resulted in an esophageal perforation, requiring immediate medical attention and an extended stay at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

I sought out medical attention elsewhere for over 2 days before finally making the drive myself to Baltimore to be seen by John’s Hopkins.

As of today, I have been hospitalized for over 12 days (starting April 8th 2024), unable to work since the 3rd of April, 2024. This unexpected turn of events has left me in a precarious financial situation, as I live paycheck to paycheck and have no means to cover my mounting medical bills and everyday expenses.

The burden of medical bills, coupled with the inability to work, has placed an immense strain on me both physically and emotionally.

Your contributions will directly alleviate the financial hardship brought upon my family caused by my medical expenses, allowing us to focus on my recovery without the added stress of financial uncertainty.
