Cecelia Kennedy

My beautiful granddaughter, Cecelia Kennedy, was born with a few health issues. One of them is being craniosynostosis, one of her skull plates fused too early and will need surgery to correct it in May. This is a very invasive procedure, and she will need to wear a helmet for some time to reshape her skull.

Our family knows just how important it is for both parents to be present during this time. Having a child who is sick has been one of the most difficult things we have had to face, and I don’t think JB and I would have been able to make it had we not had the support of each other. It was the biggest blessing to be with our girl and not have to worry about finances. That was made possible from the love and generosity from friends and family.

I want to make sure Cece is able to have her parents focus on her so she can thrive and grow with their love. Her recovery process will be long and rough. I have started a go fund me page to help cover rent, bills, and any other financial obligations so Kayley and Chris can focus on their precious baby girl, and her big brother Leon! I have also started a meal train for those who would be interested in sharing a meal. We ask you send all your love and prayers for this beautiful family!
