Hello Everyone. Me and my brothers and sister have thought this through and have decided to post this GoFundMe Page for my Dad, Cecil Cruz. Dad took a fall early Monday morning October 17th and suffered a head injury. Later that afternoon, the bleed in his brain caused him to have a stroke and he was rushed into emergency surgery to ease the pressure on brain. It’s been a tough and emotional week for our family. We’ve cried many tears in despair. This past Sunday morning, the doctors felt that removing the ventilator and reducing his sedation was a good move. He is now alert and sitting up. He is making slow and steady strides in the right direction, and with some physical therapy he will hopefully be on the road to a full recovery thanks to the good Lord! My brother-in-law, Noel, has retained a contractor to redesign Dad’s bathroom to accommodate him after the stroke and will ensure his safety. We are asking if you can help by donating. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Gary, Michael, Kriselle and myself are all very humbled and appreciative for all the warm thoughts, love and prayers sent to the family, especially to Dad and Mom.
