Cecilia's Legacy Fund

Cecilia Gentili leaves a blazing legacy of love, kinship, and an infinite fire to uplift the liberation of trans people, SWers, immigrants, and those pushed to the margins.

The driving force of her life was an extraordinary generosity that extended to all the community she touched as an advocate, a mother, an artist, an advisor, a leader and a friend.

To rightfully celebrate her and lay her to rest, we must ensure sure that her work and her people are held through this moment of incredible loss.

We must continue her legacy of uplifting trans people, SWers, and immigrants into liberation and joy.

Cecilia’s Legacy Fund will:

⁃ Cover funeral and memorial expenses

⁃ Cover legal fees

⁃ Establish a donor-advisory fund to continue funding grassroots efforts to decriminalize sex work, fight for the liberation of trans folks, and uplift immigrant communities.

Cecilia gave everything she could to create positive change in the world. Thank you for being a part of cultivating love and care to our community.

The money in this fund will go to Peter Scotto, her partner of over a decade, to repay costs and to disseminate to organizations. We will provide a breakdown of costs and donations at the close of the fundraiser.
