Cedar Cliff Youth Baseball

The Cedar Cliff Youth Baseball Association provides players age 5 – 19 with the opportunity to play recreational baseball in a safe and fun environment. 

A few months ago, our facilities were burglarized, and the perpetrators caused substantial damage to almost everything we own: tractors, garage doors, windows, building interiors, etc.  In addition, they stole all of our baseballs, and destroyed every trophy we had in the clubhouse.  To top things off, they poured every ounce of condiments we had all over the kitchen, requiring a major clean-up effort.

Our association has not, and does not, have large financial reserves to get us through misfortunes of this magnitude.  We are operated solely by volunteers, and are funded by participation fees and sponsorships.  We do not receive funding from any municipalities, school districts or parks departments.  Instead, we make every effort to charge the most reasonable fee possible to our families, and work hard to control expenses.  While a portion of the physical damage described above will be covered by insurance, this event has put us in a significant financial bind. 

We are therefore soliciting contributions to help get CCYBA back on stable financial footing.  Your donation will be used to fund necessary repairs to equipment that had been planned for 2018, but cannot be undertaken with the funds currently on-hand.  Funds raised will also help purchase bats, balls, and catcher’s gear for the kids, and replenish our bank account so that we have funds available to effectively operate the organization going forward.
